  • Mediation Analysis of Diabetes and Heart Diseases Influenced by Obesity Using Machine Learning Classifiers
    Ajay Verma and Manisha Jain

    Austrian Statistical Society
Purpose:This study examines the impact of body mass index on diabetes and heart disease among Indians. Multi-morbidity ailments are associated with diabetes. To understand the relationship between diabetes, body mass index, and heart disease, a study is undertaken. Methods:The present study established a relationship between diabetes, heart disease and body mass index using mediation analysis and machine learning classifiers. R software with Hayes Macro Process and Python was used as a statistical tool to conclude the study. Results:As a result of the present findings, the body mass index mediates the relationship between diabetes and heart disease and cannot be countered. This study's indirect impact is 4.6231, statistically significant at a 95% confidence interval (3.1333, 9.6556). Thesignificance of the indirect effect of diabetes on heart disease is evident as (BootLLCI), and (BootULCI) are both positive anddo not contain zero. This indicates that there is a substantial mediation effect present. In classification, the TensorFlow classifiershows 99% accuracy and 97% precession, while the Linear S.V.C., NuSVC and Logistic Regression have an accuracy of 98%, 96% and 97%, which shows that the machine learning classifiers are more significant for the study. Conclusion:Our study examines how Body Mass Index (B.M.I.) mediates diabetes and heart disease, which are statistically significant. Despite the close relationship between heart disease and diabetes, little is known about the pathways involved. Machine Learning Classifiers show that the risk of diabetes, heart disease and other diseases increases due to deterioration of body mass index.

  • Adoption of artificial intelligence-enabled bots in the healthcare education industry: A cost-benefit study
Shromona Neogi, Sayantan Mukherjee, and Ajay Verma

    IGI Global
A few instances of artificial intelligence (AI) enabled chatbots and robots that are now being utilised by the healthcare industries are chatbots, delivery robots, robot concierges, conveyor healthcare services, and self-service information/check-in/check-out kiosks. Despite substantial advancements made in the study of social robots, this chapter aims to partially fill the hole left by the dearth of earlier research on the topic of chatbots in the medical sector. The chapter examines the benefits and drawbacks of adopting AI-enabled chatbots by the healthcare industry, which consists of establishments such as hospitals, nursing homes, telemedicine centers, health camps, and other types of healthcare-providing firms. According to the findings of the study, AI-enabled chatbots are adopted is affected by a variety of factors, including the cost of labour and technology, the willingness of patients to have their needs met by a chatbot, the cultural characteristics of both patient and healthcare service providers, the technological characteristics of AI-enabled chatbot solutions, and others.

  • Channeling basic sciences for innovation and growth insights from ai integration in education and business
Ajay Verma and Nahida Majeed Wani

    IGI Global
Artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly advanced in recent years, poised to revolutionize various aspects of human life. Despite its potential, many educators are unaware of its broad impact. However, AI integration in education is expanding, aiming to improve teaching and learning quality through diverse methodologies leveraging data analytics and machine learning. This study explored AI's role in massive open online courses (MOOCs) using a bibliometric approach applied to Scopus databases from 2012 to 2024, analyzing 366 articles. While interest in the topic is growing, the literature remains in its early stages. Meanwhile, in business, the influence of basic sciences is often overlooked, yet they provide the foundation for innovation. Integrating these principles into business strategies uncovers new growth paths and fosters a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and innovation. This integration drives technological progress and inspires innovation in supply chain optimization and healthcare solutions.

  • Cyber security in the cloud: Harnessing the power of machine learning and cloud cryptography
Nahida Majeed Wani and Ajay Verma

    IGI Global
In an era defined by digital interconnectivity, securing information in the cloud is paramount. By harnessing the power of present advanced technologies, organizations can fortify their defenses against evolving cyber threats while simultaneously embracing environmentally conscious practices. The model begins by integrating machine learning (ML) algorithms into fabric of cyber security. Anomaly detection, threat prediction, and adaptive response mechanisms enable a proactive defense, continually evolving to thwart emerging threats. Beyond the realm of cyber security efficacy, ML optimizes resource utilization, contributing to the sustainability of cloud operations. Complementing this adaptive intelligence, cloud cryptography emerges as a cornerstone for securing data at rest and in transit. From traditional encryption to quantum-resistant cryptographic techniques, the model ensures confidentiality and integrity of information. Sustainable cryptographic practices, coupled with efficient key management, further mitigate the environmental impact associated with cryptographic operations.

  • Influencer marketing: Way to a sustainable marketing approach
Sayantan Mukherjee, Ajay Verma, and Shromona Neogi

    IGI Global
The millennial focus has shifted from mere consumption to sustainable consumption. Responsible and ethical buying is the primary focus. Millennial consumers are highly concerned about issues like environmental degradation and climatic changes and are ready to contribute to good causes. They are becoming more risk-averse and prefer to support businesses that emphasize pro-social messaging, environmentally friendly production, and moral business practices. The target consumer's perception of influencer marketing buzzwords like authenticity, credibility, and consumer involvement can be perceived as evolving. Influencers also power their voices to promote changes for good environmental causes. The study enlightens the development of the urge for ethical/sustainable buying to adopt moral influencer content as a basis to follow them and facilitate the consumer buying process. The people associated with the domain as influencers or aspiring to be one should focus on ethical influencing. The growing ethical consumerism is playing a vital role in behavioral adoption of ethical influencers.

    Rajarambapu Institute of Technology
Abstract : This paper offers a picture of disability based on census 2011, India. As per Census 2011 India, We examine the impact of demographic factors on attitudes towards students with disabilities versus non-disabled students in government and private Technical and non-technical educational institutions in India. Andrew Fisher's formula is used to determine the sample size for our investigation. Hypothesis testing has been done by using a t-test and chi-square test for comparison between the variables. Descriptive statistics are used to represent the graphical representation of the data set. This study will be helpful to know the mind-set of disabled v/s no- disabled students. At the end of the study, results were discussed with the help of graphs and tables by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Microsoft excel. Keywords: Disability, Behaviour, Demographic data, Educational level.
